So last night I kicked off the Scars of Caen league with a 50pt game vs. Ciaran Bolger and his Convergence of Cyriss. We decided to play one of the league scenarios, so I rolled a dice to decide which one. The roll came up a 6, giving us the "Burned Out" scenario in the Molten Nexus location. Note that we both took advantage of the league rules to field a Charred Ironclad (Purist - gains Unyielding) on my side and two Charred Ciphers (Purist - May choose direction when AoEs scatter).

So now that the Masters has passed us by (I've put down the rebellion in my internal organs, but am still suffering from sleep debt. Report to follow when I bother getting around to it), it's time for something a little bit different. So I've decided to put the Snappy Coalition away for a little while and go back to playing some Cygnar. I've been painting over the last while. Anyway, Ciaran Bolger is running the Scars of Caen campaign at Gamers World Dublin and I'm looking forward to getting some non-competitive games in.

Just a quick post from me today. Over the last couple of months, myself, Nigel Kavanagh and Eoin Lennon have worked on reviving the Wargaming Ireland Podcast. Today, we have uploaded the first episode. You can find it at http://wargamingireland.podbean.com/. We've had a lot of fun putting it together and hope you all enjoy listening to it. Any comments welcomed.

This weekend I will be attending the 2014 Irish Masters, which will be held at the Leprecon Convention held at Trinity College, Dublin. In an uncharacteristic bout of Lenny preparedness, I had actually finished painting, basing and varnishing my entire army by Tuesday evening, giving me three days to plan other things (like picking lists, reading the rulespack and figuring out how much beer money will be needed).

It's time for another edition of What I Painted Last Month. This month I managed to paint a total of 19 models, and didn't do any Hobby Butterflying. Yes, that's right, all of those models are for the same army. I'll be back to normal business next month, I swear.
